Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an event or submit a response.

• Event name, description, and candidate dates
• Respondent name, availability answers, and comments

No account registration is required. We do not collect email addresses or passwords.

Data Storage and Deletion

• Data is stored on an external cloud service used by this site.
• Event data is automatically deleted 2 years after the last update.
• Event creators can manually delete their events at any time.
• Edit tokens for the events you created or answered, and your My-events records (event names, dates, etc.), are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to our servers. You can delete them anytime by clearing browser data or using the erase button on the My events page.

Use of Standard Browser Technologies

We may store information through standard browser technologies to save theme and language preferences and to manage edit permissions for responses. We also use a third-party analytics tool to collect aggregate usage statistics in order to improve the service. If you have enabled Do Not Track in your browser, this analytics collection is not performed.

Advertising

This service may use third-party advertising services. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share the information you enter when creating events or submitting responses with third parties, except with your consent, as required by law, or to report abuse. For how information is handled in connection with analytics and advertising, please refer to the sections above.

Leaderboard for A Year as the Organizer

For the game's leaderboard, when you start and finish a year we send our server a device number (a random value created in your browser), your device's clock time, the number of the name shown on the leaderboard, and the year's moves and score. The moves are used only to check the score and are not stored. Leaderboard records (device number, name number, score, rank, how the year ended, and the time recorded) and the count of players at each score (which contains no device numbers) are deleted automatically after 60 days, and the record of starting a year after 8 days. To limit how often data can be sent, we keep the count per device number and a value made from your IP address that cannot be turned back into it, for 2 days only.

When you create a code in the game's "Compare with friends", our server registers only the code, a value made from your key (kept in your browser) that cannot be turned back into it, the date the code was issued, and the number of days you have shown results and the last of those days, and does not link them to the device number or your IP address. This registration is kept until you remake the code. While sharing is on, your result for today's year (name number, score, rank, how the year ended, the number of days shown, and the time) is kept for up to 3 days and your last free-play result for up to 60 days, and only people who know the code can see them. Turning sharing off or remaking the code deletes those records.
